BOX CAMERA vintage film camera

I have just upload a load of old 'box' cameras to Ebay for sale. I did not realise how many I had and it wil be good to see them go to someone who would appreciate them.
Most are various Kodak Box Brownies and theres also a Coronet box camera amongst them.
The condition of each old camera various from camera to camera and some are better than others.
I know these old Kodak box cameras don't sell for a lot and for the time spent photographing them, listing and hopefully posting, its hardly worth it.
Its a shame to throw them away especially as vintage camera collectors will buy them simply to add to their own collection.
Even in a 'poor' and 'rusty' condition they have a certain charm and are collectible, even more so at these prices. I guess someone out there would even restore such things either to display in a collection of cameras, or to use for photography.

Some of these box cameras do have better lens and the odd feature to improve the chance of taking a 'better' photograph.

Yes, even these old cameras can be used, once restored, to take photographs. I know that you can still buy film for them although this will probably get more scarce as time goes buy.
Its amazing really that as some of these cameras are well over 50 years old, that they are still usable but if you consider how 'basic' the design is, its not that surprising. At the end of the day, they are just 'pinhole' cameras or at least rely on the basic camera design principles.

SANKYO 8-R Vintage Film Camera

This SANKYO 8-R cine camera I have for sale on Ebay is a good example of a classic cine 'film' camera. The camera is in good order and the motor works fine.

This old SANKYO camera would suit a cine film camera collector and would look great on display.
Theres a very good chance that you could load a film and the camera would work fine. The 'windup' motor works at all speeds and the lens are in very good condition.
The only problem with this cine camera, if you can call it a problem, is it needs a clean. Its obviously been store for a long time gathering dust but I am sure this  film camera would clean up a treat. I should clean it myself, I might even sell it for better money! Its probably best left to someone with a little bit more knowledge though, especially when it comes to cleaning the camera lens.
I guess its not rocket science but you should use the correct lens cleaning solutions and cloth when cleaning lens. If you are new to collecting cameras and unsure then at least theres plenty of good information on the net about 'how to clean old cameras'.

Oh well, back to the 'grindstone', these collectible cameras don't sell themselves! if you wish to enquire about this cine film camera then please email me. The camera's on Ebay with a very reasonable BUY IT NOW price or you can even make me an offer.

PRAKTICA FX 2 SLR CAMERA 35mm

I have loads of cameras and equipment for sale and will be listing them either here first or on Ebay. As much as I would like to keep everything, its time to sell simply because I have to many things. I have just sold my Yashica Minister 700, it sold quickly and I was hoping to hang on to it for a little longer.
Anyway, next up is my Praktica FX2 with Carl Zeiss Lens and this is a very reluctant sale because its such a good looking camera. At least I have some photos to remind me that I once owned one.

I like this camera and have enjoyed taking some great photo's (my opinion only) of it.This is a 'good' example for a collector of cameras and would look great on display. Sadly, I cannot afford to keep it (attempting to raise money for my college course and equipment) and so I have to 'let it go', it will be listed on Ebay (if its not already).
The Buy It Now price is a 'fair' starting price but I may accept a reasonable offer because its going to sell! Below are a number of photos of the Praktica FX 2 camera 'warts and all', you should be able to see all the details including the dust. Its in good order but would require a clean.
The camera is 'untested', however it is in working order and everything appears to do what it ought to. The shutter action fires every time on all speeds and you can here it slow down, speed up when shutter is adjusted. The Carl Zeiss Tessar lens is in good condition and clear, free from scratches but may require a clean if you intend to use this camera. Internally, the camera is tidy,  just a little dust and all looks good. The camera is supplied with the original leather case which is functional but shows signs of wear.
Whoever wins this camera, even at the 'Buy it Now' price, will not be dissapointed.  However,  if you are not satisfied with your purchase I ALWAYS accept returns. This applies to all the things I sell unless otherwise stated. Before you decide to buy please take a look at the photos and if you are still unsure please get in touch.
If you wish to learn more about this camera then please email me, don't delay because this camera will sell. If you click on the photos below you will see a larger version.
