Sylvac Apple Face Pot

Many years ago my wife inherited a number of items from her gran and one of these was a Sylvac Apple face pot. I had never heard of the name Sylvac before and never really took much notice of it whilst it sat on the shelf. In fact, I used to see these old face pots all over the place, they were always easily available at car boots.

These days though, they are getting harder to find, especially the rarer Sylvac face pots, like the Sylvac Apple Face Pot. I guess they have become more popular with collectors and these days, whenever I come across any i buy them for the wife because she is hooked on collecting them. In fact, I have to put another shelf up just to accommodate the ever growing collection.

Every now and again, I have to 'cull' the Sylvac collection because she has many duplicates, its my fault because I simply cannot resist buying them for her.

This Sylvac Apple Face Pot is up for sale because she has the original given to her by her gran. Its in a good condition although there is a little 'crazing', usually found on Sylvac face pots due to the age and how they were made.

For a collector of Sylvac face pots, I am sure this would be a nice edition although if you have been collecting for a while I am sure you probably own one already.
